  Looking at the reviews for Orlin and Cohen I see some positive reviews but a surprising number of negative reviews. Now, as a new patient, I'm beginning to see why. I just began treatment for a very painful condition and saw one of the Lynbrook's offices orthopedic doctors yesterday for a follow up visit.I told him that I was in extreme pain and he and I agreed that a prescription for an effective pain killer was appropriate. He assured me that a Rx for the painkiller would be sent immediately to the local pharmacy I use . When I arrived at the pharmacy an hour later, they told me that they had not received the Rx from the doctor. When I called the office to make sure the painkiller Rx was sent I was told that the doctor had left for the day and that his notes indicated over the counter medication for pain relief. when I asked if the doctor could be contacted I was informed that he was doing surgery today and that an e -mail had been sent to him. Numerous phone calls and messages left with different departments and extensions at the Lynbrook offices, including the nurses station for the doctor. No one is willing to take responsibility and everyone is helpless to respond until the doctor responds to the e -mail ( (f he ever does ) while I am left hanging and in extreme pain .I'm not some junkie looking for a fix, I'm a 72 year old patient in extreme pain that has been left hanging and don't know what to do. This is clearly not good medical practice.
